Located in south Alabama, Crenshaw County is a largely rural community, with numerous small towns and a Mayberry-like quality. The county’s varied communities offer residents the historic landmarks and slower pace of rural and small town life. But the area is only about an hour from the cultural and entertainment activities in Dothan and Montgomery. It is also less than two hours from the beautiful beaches of the Florida Panhandle. A sportsman’s paradise, Crenshaw County is known in the state for its excellent hunting and fishing. The county also has walking and horseback riding trails.

The Crenshaw County School System's vision is to provide the highest quality education for all students.

The Crenshaw County School System is committed to maintaining a highly qualified effective staff that actively engages students in rigorous and relevant curriculum, which leads to continuous improvement.
